I'm happy to say I've lived my life well enough. Along the way, I studied boxing and martial arts, then ran a successful Martial Arts school. I learned Scuba and dived over 1,000 times in oceans, caves and even a volcano. I bought shares in a few castles, became a resident of Nowhere Island, and visited over 70 countries. I rode and ostrich, petted a cheetah, and held so many beautiful animals in my arms. I took a personal submarine down to 1,000 feet below the surface, hung out of a helicopter over NYC, and even jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. And over the years, I've met the most wonderful people and won some amazing friendships. Take a look below, follow the links for more, or see my personal photos on Smugmug.
I've always had a strong desire to see the world. I grew up traveling between Europe and the US and I've visited over 70 countries on 6 of 7 continents. I have an interest in Renaissance art, especially sculpture and have seen most of Michelangelo's works. See my reviews on Tripadvisor here. You can also see my travel photos on Smugmug here. My personal travel map of the world can be seen here.
I've been interested in photography for years and am constantly improving my skill. I enjoy travel photography best but also nature and landscape shots. I've had photos exhibited in local galleries shows and have received several honors online. See my gallery on Smugmug and various awards here.
I started training in martial arts in 1977, earned advanced rank in several different styles. I also taught "JKD" privately until the end of 2009. I authored two books; BattleMaster and JKD Devastating Fighting Techniques and was a contributor to the book, Worst Case Scenarios. I was inducted into the US Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2007. Check out the martial arts photos here. See some of my martial arts moves in the video section.
